It would be helpful if during the "first letter" and "type" activities, the user's input could be focused in the of the screen as the screen starts scrolling. That way, the previous few and next few lines of text are still visible. Being able to see the previous few lines is helpful for keeping track of where one is in a lengthy passage, and getting too close to the edges of the screen (top and bottom, both) is visually distracting.
