Improve the spaced repetition notifications
complete

Right now, the app will notify you in a spaced interval 1, 3, 7, 16, and 35 days between sessions. However, it is static and not "smart" or dynamic. I propose to update this to use the Supermemo 2 algorithm invented by Piotr Wozniak in 1990 https://super-memory.com/english/ol/sm2.htm

Greater control over the memorisation protocols

As I understand it, the app will give a reminder one day afterwards, a week afterwards, and three months afterwards. Is it possible for users to be given more control over the memorisation gaps? Could there be a feature where you could ask the app to send randomly daily poems to be memorised? And what happens after three months? Will the app remind me in six months, say?
Craig Walker
Yes, the notifications/spaced repetitions will be revamped. For now, you ARE able to customize when a notification will be sent by clicking on the 3 dots in the memorization settings in the top right corner -> notifications

Craig Walker that's great! Sorry, I hadn't appreciated the 3 dots before. I am looking forward to the new developments. Thank you for getting back to me.

Craig WalkerWhen I click into Notifications, I get a pre-programmed schedule, and can’t update the schedule manually. If I barely pull off the threshold but don’t truly know the memorization, I like being able to manually restart the schedule like I used to be able to. Somehow this feature went away a week or two ago with an update I think. I used the old feature a ton.

Matt Clayton: will update so that tapping on the interval will jump you to that interval.
The manually entered notification date changed to "due date". You can edit the due date in the edit memorization page. Changing the due date will automatically create a spaced repetition schedule for you based on an algorithm

Craig Walker Brilliant thank you so much! Amazing.

I have an important exam in a few weeks. That would be extremely useful for me and for many users who have to memorize and review many topics per day. The current notification confuses me, and definitely the SM-2 algorithm would save me. Is it possible to implement this update in time?
